The Bottom Line

What We Loved

  • Amex Card benefits: early entrance and up to 25% off concessions.
  • Seats are spacious with plenty of legroom.
  • Good crowd management, staff checking tickets to access 100 and 200 level seats.
  • Plenty of food options outside standard hot dog and pretzels including cookies, ice cream, brisket nachos, pastrami sandwiches and other.
  • 200 level has access to the Chicago Stadium Club for table service.
  • Strong, free wifi (speed 160 mbps).
  • Lots of tables and seating to enjoy snacks, unlike Paycom, where we had to eat in the corner holding our food.
  • AC worked great in section 223, very cool, enjoyable game.

What We Didn't Like

  • No cup holder at seats.
  • MC & ref calls were muted, hard to hear everything. Not sure if it is an system audio issue or user error.
  • Lack of accessibility, no closed captions visible in arena.

The Verdict

Compared to MSG, Madhouse is a breath of fresh air. Plenty of space in the seats, large jumbotron although the audio and vibes were a bit muted. Overall a fun preseason game.
