Nice, new hotel built with NBA players in mind with high ceilings & wide hallways. With a few tweaks to the in-room amenities (add slippers & toiletries) & faster communication, it could be a highly-ranked mid-level hotel in Milwaukee.

The Hotel Figueroa is a historic boutique hotel nestled in the heart of downtown Los Angeles near the fashion district. . For our second time in DTLA, for a game, we decided to try out Hotel Figueroa.

Nice boutique hotel with pleasant staff & a good location (walkable to arena). The rooms are rather small so we intentionally booked a 1 bedroom suite for more space. 

Would definitely stay here again when in DTLA.

Stay in the heart of downtown near all the excitement that makes Miami a global destination. The city’s best dining, nightlife, arts and entertainment are steps away from your unobstructed waterfront views.

The Elser Hotel Review

We were looking for a downtown Miami hotel that could accommodate 6 people. Stumbled upon the Elser & booked directly with their 30% off 4-night promo. At $600/night our 3-bedroom suite was what we needed for our post-cruise family holiday. The hotel, while allowing 6 occupants, missed out on full points by simply ensuring there were enough amenities for all occupants. Overall a good stay & would recommend it for large groups.

The Rooftop by STK In Room Dining Review

A nice spot for breakfast, however, we would only visit if we were staying at the hotel. The food from the bar (wings, chicken, etc.) is not very good.

After seeing the Seabird while on the Pacific Surfliner to LA a few years ago, I was excited to visit and check out the city of Oceanside.

G﻿reat hotel for a relaxing beach getaway with tons of shops & local restaurants to try.   We booked a King deluxe room for $359 per night (plus taxes & fees) and used a suite upgrade for the Grand Ocean Suite. Getting a complimentary upgrade to the Grand Ocean Suite Oceanfront, priced at $1,200 per night during our stay, was a treat.

Nice hotel for a few days while attending a conference. Close to Austin Convention Center with plenty of shopping & restaurants nearby. Austin is a very walkable city & this is a great base hotel. We would likely only return if we needed to be in close proximity to the convention center. Will look for other hotels in Austin for our next stay.

Park Hyatt NYC Hotel Review 

This is a great hotel if you want to be close to Times Square.  You have access to a lot of stores, restaurants, and parks. The biggest issue is the high cost of this hotel.

N﻿eeded a LoDo hotel to attend the NBA game. With a personable staff, spacious room & good location near shops & restaurant would definitely return.

Our one-night stay was $339.61 ($271.80 rate plus fees & taxes).

Two days before arrival 1 King Bed was listed for $716. Executive Suite ($916) and Skyline Suite ($966) were also available. The hotel was unavailable the prior night. Peak pricing was in effect as the 1 King Bed was listed for 23k points.

Grand Hyatt San Francisco Hotel Review

We were looking for a place to stay overnight in San Fran for less than $300. Our normal hotels were almost $500 and after some searching, we stumbled upon the Grand Hyatt San Fran which was priced at $275 (sans taxes).

With a location close to Market & Union, close to several train stations, shops and restaurants, it is a good home base for a few days. While the rooms are not too special, the front desk and Grand Lounge staff is very personable which makes it a great pick. While a good stay, I will test out other hotels in the area before returning to the Grand Hyatt.

Our luxury hotel in downtown Washington, D.C., is a few blocks from the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, and historical monuments. Grand Hyatt Washington Review

We spent $1,131.68 ($282.92 per night) along with 24k points for a four-night stay in a Grand Suite. Due to issues during check-in (including the room not being ready 4 hours after check-in), the hotel credited back 15k points. 

This category 4 hotel has direct access to the Metro center, a central DC location, and a great staff which makes it a nice option for a long weekend in DC.

Hyatt Regency Dulles Hotel Review

After arriving on a red-eye, it was great to catch the free hotel shuttle (Ubers were $22 for the less than 2-mile journey) to this airport hotel.  By airport hotel standards, for 5,00 Hyatt points a night (Category 1), this is a great base, with spacious rooms & friendly staff. 

Located in the Hacienda Business Park, Hyatt House is a residential-style hotel ideal for extended stay travelers to the San Francisco area. Our hotel features large suites with complimentary breakfast, free parking, and a pool and hot tub for relaxation. Our spacious one and two-bedroom suites are designed to create contemporary experiences with separate living and kitchen areas, and modern work spaces. Engaging social spaces to meet with friends or colleagues, meeting rooms, and a prime location all cater to today’s traveler. - 

Hyatt House Pleasanton Hotel Review

This is a good hotel as a last option. Nothing fancy about it but you will be ok if you are using it as a place to rest your head and leave all day. 

The Flag Shinsaibashi is a 3.5-star hotel located in the heart of Osaka, Japan. The hotel is conveniently located near Shinsaibashi Station, making it easy to access all that Osaka has to offer. 

The hotel's rooms are spacious and comfortable and are equipped with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The hotel also has a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city.

If you are looking for an Osaka hotel catering to tourists from the West, located in the heart of Dotonbori, this is a great place to stay.

Overall I was 'meh' about this hotel. While the room was nice & I appreciated the laundry service, it felt lacking in the Japanese culture. I would be unlikely to stay here again unless I needed to be in the vicinity for a specific reason.

Good Tokyo base hotel as it is close to several train stations, and many restaurants. We booked through a travel agent & enjoyed our two-night stay in our 13th (top) floor room.

This is an excellent hotel in Jakarta. The staff was fantastic, they went way above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Overall we had a wonderful time.   Highly recommended!
