The Verdict
Wow, Barclays Center was outstanding for the NY Liberty game! Super easy Q train access from our hotel. Inside, the place shined with fantastic WNBA vibes, truly "all in," which was refreshing after Wintrust. Great food & a perfect view from our Section 16 seats made it shine. Entry was smooth & seats comfy (4.5/5), but those were minor points. The overall energy, a quick wave from Ellie the Elephant, & store clicked perfectly. Barclays now ties Chase Center as our favorite arena visited so far on this big journey!
What We Loved
- Super easy commute: Getting there was a snap on the Q train right from our midtown hotel.
- Incredible WNBA Vibes: This place felt totally dialed in for the Liberty game! Loved the energy, mascot (Ellie), team store, it really put Wintrust to shame.
- Tons of local food options, loved the corner store and soul fusion.
- Great View: No complaints about the view from our seats in Section 16.
- Smooth Entry: Getting through security was easy, even with my Lululemon belt bag
What We Didn't Like
- Seats were good, just not quite perfect comfort-wise
