The Bottom Line
What We Loved
- Large lobby with ample seating.
- Spacious room with double vanity, shower, and tub.
- Close to Allegiant Arena (we walked over to attend a Raider game).
- Easy access to Michelob Arena (located inside the hotel).
- The front desk agent was polite & provide ample information about the hotel.
- When I checked in via the app I was assigned room 7121. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were upgraded to a Stay Well 2 Queen (room 56118). The front desk agent notified us that they wanted to confirm we were okay with the two queens as we had booked a king room prior to assigning the higher floor room.
- Prior to checkout, I had questions about my bill and while the front desk agent was unable to provide clear information, their supervisor was professional and answered my questions in depth.
- Spacious gym with lots of equipment.
- The hotel has two elevators to access rooms. The main elevator for the lower floors always had a line, while the elevator (floors 56 to 62) to access our room on the Stay Well floor was never busy. Also, the hotel renumbered the floors after the 2017 shooting, floors 31 - 34 are now floors 56 to 59.
What We Didn't Like
- Have to walk through the casino to access lobby, tram & restaurants
- Walls are thin, can hear neighbors & people in the hall.
- No bottled water offered (even with M gold status).
- While the room has a coffee maker, the coffee cups & sugars were extra. Thankfully we travel to Vegas with our own travel kettle, coffee cups, teas & sweeteners.
- The ice machine on our floor was not working the two days were there. We had to go up to the 59th floor to get ice.
- I asked for an additional bathroom towel set and was told that the hotel was short on towels.
- The hotel did not have a texting feature. Anytime we had questions, we had to join the line at the front desk to speak to someone.
The Verdict
After our two nights at the Crockfords Las Vegas, we booked a three-night weekend stay at Mandalay Bay to be close to Allegiant Stadium for the Raiders game. As an M Life Rewards member, benefits are waived resort fee, however no bottle of water. I would stay here again if prices were less than $100 per night when attending events at Allegiant Stadium due to walkability ease. If prices exceed $200 per night, I would rather stay at the Four Seasons (top floors) for a better overall Vegas experience.
