The Bottom Line

What We Loved

  • Suite is large with double sink, shower & tub; along with a large closet with several drawers. It would be a good room for an extended stay.
  • Hilton Gold members breakfast credit is available at Sun's Out Bun's Out or Junior's rather than Dawg House, which is an appreciated change.
  • Adrian at the bar was very personable & made great drinks.
  • We booked a Superior Room and were upgraded prior to check-in to a One-Bedroom Suite, which was a pleasant surprise. I had planned on inquiring at check-in about the upgrade cost and was very happy to get the room I wanted for free.

What We Didn't Like

  • Lack of outlets in the bedroom, most are located next to one nightstand.
  • Bathroom automatic light is very sensitive, would have liked a way to turn it off the sensor.
  • Room does not have a desk and there are little spaces to work remotely from the space.
  • The room bathroom design is not functional. Both the water closet & the shower doors only open in one direction & hit the barrier, loudly. The towel rack is too close to the water closet door, resulting in the door hitting a towel hanging.
  • After our 2nd night, we went to get breakfast at Suns Out at the same time as the prior day & it was closed. The restaurant said they closed early as it was not busy.
  • We got a yogurt parfait & fruit cup from Junior's & both had expired (sour smelling) fruit.
  • They are no longer providing their key keepsake; the front desk says it is due to budget costs.
  • The Famous Food hall has lost several restaurants with the remaining restaurants reducing menu offerings & increased prices.

The Verdict

Revisiting after our August 2022 stay (here), I used my $200 Amex Fine Hotels & Resort towards a 3-night stay totaling $824.43 ($838.56 rate + $185.87 resort fees - $200 Amex credit). We were preemptively upgraded from a Superior Room to a One Bedroom Suite in CrockFord West which was nice. Of the 3 Resorts World hotels, Crockford still remains our favorite, despite the diminishing food options & a $45 resort fee that provides no additional value.
