The Bottom Line

What We Loved

  • Seats have good pitch with movable cup holders
  • Lots of activities before the game including face painting & ballon animals.
  • Large jumbotron with closed captioning for the entire game, a rarity at arenas.
  • Lots of food selections including nachos, beignets and sausages.

What We Didn't Like

  • The announcer was a mumbler, it was hard to hear the entire game.
  • The seat width is tight & with a wall to my left, it was an uncomfortable experience
  • The audio in the stadium is muted & videos that play are hard to hear.
  • Getting out via rideshare is horrendous. Since pickup is at the side of the arena you have to wait for most pedestrians to cross, then those who parked to leave to get out.
  • The arena is in the middle of nowhere with no public transportation — Uber was our only option.

The Verdict

The Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, TX, delivers a fantastic game day. We loved the ample food selections; our loaded hot dog was divine, & the frozen cocktail hit the spot. Our view was perfect, enhanced by the huge jumbotron with full closed captioning – a real game-changer! While getting there & leaving via rideshare was a true headache, once inside, the good seat pitch & movable cup holders made us comfortable. We’d go back to the Frost Bank Center in a heartbeat.
