The Bottom Line
What We Loved
- Complimentary airport shuttle, which was efficient located at Terminal 2.
- Rooms were priced at $280 per night, we used 1 Free Night Award & 30k points for our 2-night stay. The day of our stay, room was listed as 29k points.
- Good location in Rosemont, close to airport & a few restaurants.
- Hotel has a full Starbucks in the lobby, which closes at 2 pm on the weekend, which was strange.
- Comfortable bed with a sleep well balm available for use.
- The room is spacious with the two Queens and we loved that the desk had wheels & was easily movable.
- Staff responded promptly to inquiries via the "chat with us" feature in the app.
What We Didn't Like
- Check-in agent was abrupt & did not provide any information about the hotel. Minimal interaction with other hotel staff.
- Bathroom handheld shower leaks too much for it to be used.
- Our TV was not working when we came in, the staff came in to fix it after waiting 30 minutes.
- Keycard not needed for the elevator, a safety concern.
- At first glance, the 2020 renovations looks good. After a few minutes, you notice the scuff marks & the old bones that still exist.
- It was difficult to connect to the wifi, which once connected was slow (10 mbps)
- There's only night stand and there is no master light switch available next to the beds. You have to turn off the master by the front door.
- The bathroom automatic nightlight stayed on too long, especially during the night.
The Verdict
We needed a place to stay after a red-eye, where we used 30k points and a free night award. With a free airport shuttle, a recent renovation & location close to shops, it is a great 'airport' hotel base.
