The Bottom Line

What We Loved

Location: "easy" 10-minute walk from the train station. Note: The sidewalk is cobblestone for some portion & other portions are on an uphill.
Gym has sauna, open for limited hours.
Good assortment at the buffet breakfast, tasty pastries and ample juices.
Very comfortable bed, the best sleep we had during our Europe trip.
Staff was very responsive to message requests. Reached out about emptying the mini bar & they came within 5 minutes.
We liked the overall eclectic hotel vibe, interesting color scheme (red & black) with fun art.
Great price. We booked early & reserved our 3-night stay for €618 under their "Stay Longer on Us with Breakfast" special.

What We Didn't Like

The hotel gym is small & in the basement. There were 2 treadmills & small section of free weights.
The hotel doors don't have a slow-closer which resulted in constant door slams.
The wiew from the room was into the office building next door. We kept the blinds closed during office hours.
Sauna hours were weird. At check-in was told it was 6 - 10, which I thought was 6 am to 2200, however it is actually 1800 to 2200.
At check-in, the front desk agent wrote the wrong room number on the key cards. When we went to the room (504) the door would not work. I checked the Marriott app the room was listed as 304.
