The Bottom Line
What We Loved
- Close to Harrisburg Airport (MDT)
- Available coin laundry. There was 1 washer ($1.75 for 30 minutes) and 1 dryer ($1.50 for 30 minutes)
- Grab & go breakfast included: yogurt, muffin, fruit, bottled water, granola bar, & a mint.
- In-room microwave & mini-fridge.
What We Didn't Like
- No airport shuttle. It is a 5-minute partially covered walk from the hotel to the airport. With inclement weather, this could be a problem with luggage.
- When we arrived we noticed that 75% of 2nd floor rooms were left partially opened, yet there was no housekeeping cart in the hallway. About 30 minutes later, housekeeping emerged from one of the rooms.
- The 2nd-floor ice machine was not working, went to the 1st-floor to get ice.
- This is a new airport hotel where the total price was $131.65.
- Not much nearby. There's a gas station across the freeway, however not many other food options.
The Verdict
Good hotel near Harrisburg airport. Would stay here again to provide ease of access for early AM flights.
