What We Loved
- Located in Mohegan Sun there are many restaurants nearby. We had a great meal at Hash House A Go Go before the game & grabbed pastries from Sift Bakery after.
- View from our seats in section 21 had great unobstructed views of the court behind that basket.
- Vibe was okay, it was camp day so most activities were tailored towards school-age children (Fortnight Dances, Scream Cam etc)
What We Didn't Like
- The Ride Share drop-off/pick-up is a bit confusing, resulted in a rather long (~10 minute walk through the casino) to get to/from the arena.
- Prices were normally for an arena (overpriced): $5 Dasani, $6 Pizza slice and $17 Truly.
- While we had a great view from our seats, they were like bleacher seats that rocked when others moved and the seat width was rather small. Thankfully no one sat on either side of us, however it would have been a tight squeeze if we had seatmates.
The Verdict
Meh arena with a fun game against Seattle where Sun got their 9th win of the season. The arena is lackluster when compared to the amenities within the casino. Hard to navigate to & within the arena, such a strange decision for a WNBA team.
