The Verdict
The Gateway Center Arena in College Park, GA, delivered a wonderfully close court view & an electric atmosphere. Navigation inside was simple, & concessions were affordable. Getting there wasn't ideal, which could be a dealbreaker for some, & seat comfort was just fine. While food options were limited, & charging for ketchup felt unnecessary, the burger & crispy wings with waffle fries were satisfying.
What We Loved
- One of the most electric atmospheres despite the small size.
- Being so close to the court created a personal, immersive experience.
- Good Arena Accessibility (3.75/5): Above average, smooth entry and navigation.
- Affordable Concessions: $12 brisket sandwich, $10 kids meal (with drink!)—rare at a pro sporting event.
- Fun matchup, strong performance by Connecticut Sun, and a good DJ.
What We Didn't Like
- Getting there wasn't ideal, which could be a dealbreaker for some.
